Spine & injury Clinic of Laramie is a regionally renowned clinic specializing in a comprehensive ‘team’ approach to injury rehabilitation. Our doctors, therapists and staff are recognized specialists in these fields and have extensive knowledge and experience. We are considered both a pioneer and leader by combining the best from individual disciplines to work collaboratively in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries while promoting prevention and wellness. Spine & Injury Clinic of Laramie is known for achieving the best results in the shortest time by using this integrative philosophy.

Dr. Dylan Milam is a 2005 graduate of University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Prior to graduating from UWS, Dr. Milam earned B.S. degrees in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Wyoming.  After practicing for a couple of years in Portland, Oregon, he returned to Laramie to open a practice.

Dr. Milam’s clinical focus, in addition to disorders of the spine and pelvis, is on conservative management of cumulative trauma disorders, sports injuries and functional progressive rehabilitation.  He is also very experienced with treating women during pregnancy and children.  He encourages the integration of chiropractic care with other medical healthcare services to most efficiently and cost-effectively reach successful outcomes and to ensure patient satisfaction.

Dr. Milam is one of the first of few board-certified chiropractic sports physicians (DACBSP) in Wyoming.  Dr. Milam is a chiropractic provider for the University of Wyoming Athletics, treating athletes from all sports year round, both in the university training room and at the clinic.  He has worked on the medical team for the NBC Sports Dew Action Sports Tour.  On winter Dew Action Sports Tour stops he provided care to Olympic-level skiers and snowboarders from all over the world.  During the summer tour, he worked with professional BMX riders, motocross riders, and skateboarders.  Dr. Milam has worked personally on many professional and Olympic athletes.  Dr. Milam has worked closely with many professional team medical providers and chiropractors, including providers for the Olympics, NFL, NHL, NBA, UFC, PGA, X-Games and Dew Tour.

Dr. Milam is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has a passion for integrating this knowledge into his care plans.  Dr. Milam continues to participate in numerous post-graduate training and education seminars so that he can better himself as a practitioner and provide the latest tools and information to his patients.

Dr. Milam is a contributing health columnist for the Laramie Boomerang and Wyoming Lifestyle magazine and has been named as an expert witness for legal trials regarding motor vehicle accidents to review cases for many local attorneys.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Milam enjoys spending time with his wife Kelly, and daughters Carson and Valerie. He also enjoys weightlifting, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, camping, fishing, playing sports, reading and being an active supporter of all of Laramie High School and UW athletic teams.

Dr. David Milam is a 2008 graduate of University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.  Prior to graduating from UWS, Dr. Milam earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Wyoming.  He returned to Laramie following graduation and joined the Spine & Injury Clinic.

Dr. Milam’s clinical focus, in addition to disorders of the spine and pelvis, is on conservative management of cumulative trauma disorders, sports injuries and functional progressive rehabilitation. In addition to the spine, Dr. Milam specializes in conservatively treating extremity injuries including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, feet, and TMJ.

Dr. Milam is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Dr. Milam is also certified in Active Release Technique© (ART). ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. He continues to participate in numerous post-graduate training and education seminars so that he can better himself as a practitioner and provide the latest tools and information to his patients. Dr. Milam served on the sports medicine team at the Ironman Triathlon in Lake Placid, New York in 2009.

Dr. Milam is currently a Adjunct Faculty Member at University of Western States Clinical Internship Department.  He serves as chairman on the City of Laramie’s Board of Health. Dr. Milam is a past board member on the Wyoming Governor’s Council of Physical Fitness and Sports and former state director for the National Strength & Conditioning Association for Wyoming.  Dr. Milam previously taught Human Anatomy at Laramie County Community College, and was an adjunct instructor for the Kinesiology department at the University of Wyoming.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Milam enjoys being with his wife Stefanie, dog Jax, friends and family. He also enjoys weightlifting, hiking, mountain & road biking, camping, fishing, playing sports, triathlons, reading, teaching, and being an active supporter of all of Laramie High School and UW athletic teams.

Dr. Michelle Collins earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2020 from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Michelle practiced in Oregon for a year and half, before returning to her home state of Wyoming.

Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. Michelle graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. degree in Zoology. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Michelle’s initial post-graduate interest was veterinary school; however, after suffering a weightlifting injury, she discovered the impact chiropractic can make and changed her graduate education plans. As a result of her personal experience with injury and the benefits of chiropractic care, she understands the importance chiropractic treatment can make on a patient’s function and well-being. Along with incorporating function goals, her professional style focuses on a patient centered approach. She integrates adjusting, rehabilitation, and manual therapy to conservatively treat disorders of the spine and extremities.

Growing up, Dr. Michelle was a competitive gymnast and figure skater. She likes coaching both sports as well. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, hiking, fishing, bow hunting, horse training and cooking. Dr. Michelle loves free time with her dog RyeLee and horses Dazey & Bri. Dr. Michelle Collins is excited to return to Laramie and serve her favorite community – the Laramie Valley.

Dr. Jalyn Anderson is a licensed physical therapist with 14 years of experience, specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, sports-related injuries, and concussion management. A graduate of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver, CO, she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2010. Prior to this, she completed a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Wyoming in 2006.

Dr. Anderson has provided exceptional patient care at the Spine and Injury Clinic for 11 years. Her passion lies in treating patients with acute and chronic concussions, as she is a Certified Concussion Specialist through Complete Concussion Management. She also specializes in vestibular (balance) disorders, blood flow restriction exercise method, and competitive weight lifting techniques. Additionally, Dr. Anderson is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling through the American Dry Needling Institute, having achieved this certification in 2012, and she has witnessed remarkable outcomes with this treatment approach.

With a strong belief in patient-centered care, Dr. Anderson integrates multiple disciplines to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. With her depth of knowledge and clinical experience, she is skilled in treating a wide array of orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries across all age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Anderson is passionate about health and weightlifting, as she has competed in Olympic Weightlifting and Strongman. She spends most of her time in an ice rink watching her daughter Kingslea play hockey. In her free time she loves playing all the games, going to the movies, reading, being outside and spending time with her many animals.

Dr. Morgan Leyba is a dedicated physical therapist at the Spine and Injury Clinic, where she has been practicing for 7 years. Dr. Leyba is a graduate of the Regis University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Denver, CO. She is also an alumna of the University of Wyoming, where she earned a degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion.

Dr. Leyba treats a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including postoperative musculoskeletal surgeries, chronic pain, neurological impairments, and pelvic health. She is certified in APTA Pelvic Health Level 1 and Advanced Dry Needling of the Pelvic Girdle, which enhances her ability to address pelvic health concerns. She is committed to practicing with the latest evidence and creating individualized treatment plans to ensure therapeutic success for her patients.

Dr. Leyba has happily set her roots in Laramie, Wyoming, and enjoys being actively involved in local community events. She values these opportunities to connect with others and contribute to the town that has become her home. At the Spine and Injury Clinic, Dr. Leyba is grateful to be part of a skilled and experienced multi-disciplinary team. She strives to meet patients where they are, focusing on functional goals and personalized strategies that guide them toward successful recovery and improved quality of life.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Leyba enjoys a range of activities, from exercising and traveling to golfing and skiing. She is also a dedicated supporter of Wyoming Athletics, often cheering on her favorite sports teams. She values exploring the beautiful outdoors during both shine and snow, as well as spending time with family, friends, and her dog Barley.

Dr. Tiffany Polson is a passionate and dedicated physical therapist, with 5 years of experience treating various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She is a graduate of the University of Montana Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Missoula, MT. Dr. Polson also earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology from the University of Montevallo where she played college soccer.

Currently, Dr. Polson is advancing her expertise by completing the Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete certification, which complements her existing credentials. She is also a foot and ankle specialist through the Gray Institute, enhancing her ability to treat foot/ankle pain and improve function through targeted intervention.

Dr. Polson’s special interests lie in managing foot and ankle injuries and addressing running-related issues. Whether working with avid runners dealing with injuries or individuals struggling with chronic foot pain, she provides effective, evidence-based treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. Her previous experiences as a collegiate soccer player and a runner—including participating in the Bighorn 18-mile and other half marathons—further enhance her ability to relate to and treat such injuries. With a deep commitment to helping individuals return to their best selves, she brings a wealth of experience and a personalized approach to every patient she works with.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Polson stays active and inspired through hiking, skiing, and weightlifting. These activities not only keep her in shape but also provide valuable insights into the physical demands of various sports and recreational pursuits. She also enjoys spending time with her energetic dog, Nala, who never fails to brighten her day and remind her of the joy of movement.

Dr. Natalie Motor is a physical therapist who graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. She has lived in Laramie for one year, and has been a valued member of the Spine and Injury Clinic for the same duration. During her time as a physical therapist, she has gained experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological diagnoses.

Dr. Motor has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal injuries, particularly those affecting the shoulder and upper and lower back. She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling through the American Dry Needling Institute, and enjoys utilizing this technique to enhance her treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Additionally, she is trained in Movement System Impairment Syndromes (MSI) and is always seeking ways to improve her knowledge and skills through research and literature to provide the best possible care for her patients.

A native of the Midwest, Dr. Motor has enjoyed her time providing exceptional care as a physical therapist at the  Spine and Injury Clinic, and enjoys collaborating with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a passionate fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.

Dr. Summer Ashworth is a dedicated physical therapist and a graduate of the University of Puget Sound Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Tacoma, WA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming, where she also excelled as a Division 1 soccer player.

With a strong educational and athletic background, Dr. Ashworth has extensive experience treating a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, neurologic issues, and post-surgical rehabilitation. She is especially passionate about working with the geriatric population, where she focuses on fall risk management, strength training, and enhancing overall functional independence.

Emphasizing the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance, Dr. Ashworth tailors each treatment plan to the unique needs and goals of her patients. Her blend of evidence-based practices and personalized care supports effective, sustainable recovery, and her empathetic nature ensures that each patient feels valued and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ashworth enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and playing and watching soccer. She remains active in the community, reflecting her commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
